As our female hockey program continues to grow, we want to provide players with opportunities to take their development beyond our regular ice sessions and experience playing as part of an all-female team whenever possible.
Throughout the season, additional opportunities may include:

Participation in these opportunities will depend on factors such as player numbers, age divisions, skill and development level, coach availability, scheduling, travel requirements, and the format or eligibility requirements of each event.
Where we have enough interested players, our goal is to create opportunities for girls to put on the same jersey, play together as a female team, and experience games and tournaments alongside the players they have been developing with throughout the season.
These opportunities are considered an additional component of Female Development and may involve separate registration, travel, tournament, jersey, or other costs depending on the event. Details will be communicated to families as opportunities become available.
An important part of Female Development is helping our players see that hockey can continue well beyond minor hockey. We are fortunate to have the Creston Jets women's team right here in our community, and we love finding opportunities to collaborate with and celebrate with them.

Many of the women who play for the Creston Jets are also moms, family members, friends, coaches, and familiar faces to our young athletes. This creates a special connection between generations of female hockey players and gives our girls the opportunity to see women they know continuing to enjoy the game.
Throughout the season, we hope to create opportunities to support one another, share the ice, attend or celebrate games, and involve Jets players in Female Development activities when possible.
It is a great reminder to our younger players that there is a place for them in hockey at every age - whether they want to compete, coach, volunteer, or simply keep playing the game they love.
